Men's Ministry Watch Party and Chili Cookoff!! March 13 - Join us for a chili cookoff at the ACC Tournament Watch Party—good food, great hoops, and even better company. Bring your best pot of chili and your team spirit for a night that’s all about fellowship, flavor, and friendly competition. Register Here

Covenant Class - March 21: Want to know more about what it means to be FAMILY at Grace? Come to our Covenantor Class, Saturday, March 21, 9am-noon, for people who want to consider joining our church. You will hear from the staff, learn about the ministries and vision of the church, and look more deeply at our beliefs and theology. Light breakfast is provided. Please register HERE . Childcare is available upon registration.

Serve Sunday - March 22: We will meet together for worship at 9 am , then head out into the community to serve! Worksites are open from 10am to noon. WE NEED YOU!! Consider encouraging your discipleship community or your group of friends to sign up together. Be sure to bring work gloves and if you have appropriate tools (gardening and landscaping tools, trash pickers, etc), please bring them as well.

Kids, ages 4 and up, are welcome at most projects and should be registered. Childcare will be available for infants - 3-year-olds - please register your children for this option if you plan to put them in childcare.

WCF Casserole Night - March 25 : Let’s make some yummy Chicken Divan for our Wednesday night guests. These casseroles can be made 3 days ahead of time and placed in the glass refrigerator in Room 105 on the preceding Sunday morning on your way to service! You may also bring them Monday or Tuesday during office hours...or Wednesday, March 25 before 5:00pm thoroughly cooked and hot. Please follow this recipe . We need 12 large casseroles in all. Aluminum pans and printed recipes are available in Room 105.

Please sign up to let us know you’re bringing a casserole. If you sign up but find that you cannot bring your casserole, please let us know in advance, so we can make sure we have enough food for our guests. We also need 2-liter drinks. Thank you for feeding our community! Sign up HERE .

Baptism and Affirmation of Faith - April 5: Are you new to faith or getting serious about your faith? Do you feel the Spirit inviting you to take the next steps of discipleship? You should consider getting baptized or participating in our affirmation of faith.

Baptism is an important step in our faith journey. Why do we practice Baptism here at Grace? Here is what our constitution says concerning Baptism: We believe the Lord Jesus Christ instituted two ordinances to be observed by all believers until His return, Baptism and The Lord’s Supper (Communion). Their observance by all believers is urged (Matt 28:19; 1 Cor 11:23-26). Kids 2nd -5th grade need to have completed New Life class to be baptized.

Affirmation of faith is for men and women who have been baptized previously but are in a season where their faith life is being renewed or coming alive in a new way and they want to mark that reality with their faith community. They will write their story and have it read in the service just like the folks getting baptized but instead of getting in the water, they will be anointed with oil and prayed over by the elders.

If you would like to be baptized or participate in affirmation of faith, please register HERE by March 25.

Holy Week: March 29 - April 5 Journey with us through Holy Week beginning with Palm Sunday . Please join us for Good Friday service on April 3 at 6:30pm featuring the Youth & Young Adult Praise Team. We will worship and take communion together, with a message from Pastor Marshall. Easter Sunday will conclude our week as we celebrate Baptism, worship with the Kids CommUnity Choir and fellowship with one another. Please invite friends and neighbors to be a part of this week. Discovery Bible Study will be offered beginning the Tuesday following Easter. This is a great way for friends who are curious about Jesus to learn more about Him right after visiting on Easter!! We look forward to worshiping together this Easter season!

Discovery Bible Study - April 7 : You're invited!! We will be looking at 7 conversations Jesus had with people who were spiritually seeking. This study is meant for men and women who are considering a relationship with Jesus or for folks to bring seeking friends to. Please register for these sessions HERE .

Women Retreat - April 18 : Life can leave our souls dry and overextended—but God invites us to be renewed. Join us for Soul Watering , a one-day retreat designed to nourish your soul, deepen your roots, and prepare you for growth. Through time in Scripture, worship, and guided reflection , we’ll create intentional space to slow down, connect with God, and connect with other women. Together, we’ll explore what it means to care for our souls—and to love and care for others from a place of fullness.

Our guest speaker is Pastor Beth Graham , lead pastor of Gate City Vineyard Church in Greensboro, NC. She has served in worship, women’s ministry, young adults, and pastoral leadership across churches in North Carolina and New York. Beth holds degrees from Dartmouth College and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and is passionate about teaching God’s Word, worship, and building spiritually healthy, authentic communities.

WCF Casserole Night - April 22: Let’s make some yummy Chicken Divan for our Wednesday night guests. Grace Youth Disc Golf - April 26: Grace Youth will be playing disc golf at Barber Park. Pick up and drop off will be near the playground. There will be snacks and prizes.

Child Dedication - May 3: If you are a parent of a child(ren) and would like to dedicate your child(ren) please register for this event. This occasion also includes a dinner Saturday, May 2, for the parents to meet with staff and elders and pray together for the child(ren) getting dedicated. One dedicating parent must be a covenantor at Grace. The next Covenantor Class is March 21. Register for Covenantor Class HERE . Dedicating parents must also attend the Dedicating Parent class on April 12 .

Grace Youth Come and See - May 3 : 5th graders and their parents will have an opportunity to check out Grace Youth before they move up in the summer.

Volunteer Appreciation Night - May 9: Grace Volunteers! We want to celebrate you! Thank you for serving! Come out and let us show you how much we appreciate all that you do serving the Lord at Grace. Enjoy a night of baseball at the Greensboro Grasshoppers. First pitch is at 6:30pm and there are fireworks following the game! Stay tuned for registration.

Couple's Game Night - May 29: Married, engaged, or seriously dating? Join the Marriage Enrichment Team and other couples for a night of fun and fellowship while playing games and eating dessert. Meet on the back lawn Friday, May 29 at 7pm . Bring a chair!

Currently, we do not have childcare for this event. If anyone is interested in coordinating/providing childcare, please reach out to Dale or Nikky Slaughter. Childcare volunteers must have completed the Child and Youth Protection training.

VBS June 21 - 25 : Where kids learn about a God who loves them and a church that is for them.

One Service, One Family July 5 - September 6 Grace FAMILY and friends! This summer we will come together as family each Sunday! We will worship together at 10am and then head to the Eagle's Nest and back lawn for fellowship and special treats!

Covenantor Class - July 18 : Want to know more about what it means to be FAMILY at Grace? There are many ways to serve our church body! Here are a few needs for 2026:

VBS Decorations Coordinator - Need someone to join VBS Leadership Team and coordinate the projects that make VBS come alive. This person will work closely with Lee and plan the stage and all scenes to help engage kids in the wonder of God's creation at VBS. This person will also help coordinate and execute work days where volunteers come to make the projects. If interested, please email lsimmons@gracegso.org.

Maranatha Fellowship Men's Breakfast - February 7: Men of Grace, it's time to join in with the brothers at Maranatha Fellowship for their annual Men's Breakfast. You will be served a delicious, big breakfast, meet men from numerous churches in the Triad, and then be encouraged with worship and a message on living for Christ. Register HERE .

Grace Youth Peck Elementary Valentine's Outreach - February 8: Grace Youth will be partnering with Glenwood Together to pack Valentine gift bags for Peck Elementary to encourage them as they serve the kids of the community. We will be meeting for this event at Glenwood Together and drop off and pick up will be there. 4:30-5:30pm.

GraceKids New Life class -February 15, 22, Mar 1: This is a class for 2nd-5th graders to learn more about The Best Life - A Life with God. The class covers Grace's Gospel framework and utilizes several fun experiences to help kids develop a better grasp on God and his movement toward them. Class is designed for kids to sign up with an adult mentor and older siblings can join in too!

**This 3-session class is required for kids who are interested in Baptism. The cost for the class is $12 per child (no more than $24 for a family). Please sign-up HERE for class beginning Sunday, February 15.

Churchwide Fast -Feb 15-22: During this Fasting Week, we would ask all of us to be intentionally praying:

• For God to make us WHOLEHEARTED in understanding His great love for us.

• For GLOBAL AWAKENING and revival as we look towards our Faith Promise Missions month in March

• For our church to experience an OUTPOURING of God’s Presence and leadership, that we might become the church He is creating us to be.

Wholehearted Praise Service - Feb 22: It's time to break our fast with corporate praise! Sing aloud with our Better Together Choir and share your testimony of Holy Spirit's work within you during your time of fasting. Prayer ministers will be available for healing prayer. We look forward to rejoicing with you! 6pm

Multiethnic Conversations -Feb 22 - March 22: We believe that God has called us to embrace diversity in a genuine way, based on the teachings of the Gospel. To achieve this, we are offering a series of 5 weekly sessions based on the book Multiethnic Conversations by Mark DeYmaz and Oneya Fennell Okuwobi. This workbook serves as a practical guide to help us grow as a more diverse church. The group will meet at Grace on Sunday mornings at 11:30 in Room 201. We have limited spots available for 12 participants.

Before you begin the sessions at Grace, please purchase an e-book or physical copy of the book from Amazon or your preferred bookseller. Alternatively, we have a few copies available at Grace for a suggested donation of $20. To prepare for the first session, please read and complete pages 11-35, titled "Week One," in the book.

We ask everyone who calls Grace home to participate in this study at least once. Each time you attend the series of sessions, you will hear new stories and perspectives from participants in the class. We look forward to taking this journey with you! Register HERE

Register your kids now for the CommUnity Kids Choir practices beginning Sunday, March 1 at 11:30am in room 203. Practices will be in preparation for our worship time on Easter Sunday morning. Sign-up your kids ages 4-12. We welcome kids from Grace as well as our community. Tell a friend to sign up their kids! Register HERE .

Youth & Young Praise Team - March 1: High school students, college students and young adults!! It's time to lead our church in worship! Come to our Youth and Young Adult praise team practices led by our worship pastor, John Jackson, beginning Wednesday, March 4 at 6pm in room 209. Practices will lead up to our time of worship at the Good Friday service on April 3 at 6:30pm. Register HERE .

Youth Floor Hockey - January 11: Youth will kick off the new year with a floor hockey tournament at Grace. You will have a chance to compete with and against your friends for lots of fun and prizes. This is a great event to invite a friend to.

Discovery Bible Study - January 6 - Feb 17: Curious about Jesus? Or maybe you do not have a vibrant relationship with Him or a regular habit of coming to church. We’re here to help! This 6-week study on the life of Jesus will use the discover Bible study method to help you gain a better understanding of who Jesus is. We will meet Tuesday evenings beginning January 6. If you have a friend who could benefit from this study, feel free to sign up together! Register HERE today! We look forward to studying with you!

Baptism and Affirmation of Faith - January 11: Are you new to faith or getting serious about your faith? Do you feel the Spirit inviting you to take the next steps of discipleship- you should consider getting baptized or participating in our affirmation of faith.

Better Together Adult Mass Choir Practice January 7: If you've been waiting for an opportunity to lift your voice in worship but are unable to commit to our weekly praise team, this is what you've been waiting for! Adult Mass Choir will have just 5 practices culminating to Sunday morning worship at 8:30 & 10 on February 22 as well as evening on worship on the same day. This celebration will end our annual FAMILY Fast. Practice dates are Jan 14 & 21, Feb 4, 11 & 18 7-8:30pm. Please register for practices HERE .

FAMILY Conversation January 18: Grace FAMILY, the elders would like to invite you to a FAMILY conversation after second service on January 18th. We want to give you an update on some things we have been working on as an elder board as well as celebrate what the Lord is doing at Grace Community Church. AHMI, Affordable Housing Management, Inc., will join us to discuss housing for our community that aligns with the mission of our church. We will also share about how the Lord may be leading us to press into our vision in new ways.

If you consider Grace your church home, please join us. We will provide pizza and water for lunch, as well as childcare for walkers through 5th grade. Register HERE .

Welcoming All: A Practical Discussion about Cultural Competency and Serving Refugees & Immigrants - January 24:

Join us for this one-hour workshop at 9am where we’ll explore practical steps to build bridges with refugees and immigrants in our community. As Christ compels us to serve, we welcome all interested in serving in this way and coming alongside this population.

During this interactive session, we will talk about cultural humility and competence and understanding it's role in this work. We'll discuss key strategies to service and tools to foster friendship, empowerment and cultural bridging. We will present options for local resources and connections and ways to practically get involved. Our hope is you will leave empowered and better equipped in facing this multicultural environment. Youth Christmas Workshop - December 6: Youth will meet at Glenwood Together at 11am where we will help people in the community create Christmas presents for their friends and family as well as serve hot chocolate and snacks.

Women's Christmas Dinner - December 7: LADIES!!! The event you've been waiting for all year!!! The Women's Christmas Dinner!!! Sunday, December 7 at 6pm . Grab your girlfriends and bring a dessert. We will provide a tasty pasta dinner (including gluten & dairy free options), powerful testimonies from Hannah's haven and a beautiful dance performance. Come and be refreshed and reminded of the true meaning of Christmas.

Christmas Eve Services - December 24: Grace FAMILY! Many of your friends, co-workers and neighbors don't have plans for Christmas Eve. Sadly, in the midst of Santa Claus and Christmas movies (which we love!) many people haven't considered the Gospel message of Christmas. Our Christmas Eve services may be the ideal time to invite our unchurched friends to come hear the gospel without the perceived pressure of coming to a Sunday morning worship service. This Christmas Eve, you can expect the story of Christmas contextualized for both kids and adults. There will be music, video and message. We offer two 1-hour services to choose from, 4:30pm and 6pm . We look forward to meeting your neighbors, co-workers and friends!

Online Worship Service Only - December 28: Meet us on YouTube at 10am for worship as we close our Advent series. The church building and offices will be closed December 23 - January 2. No WCF meal December 24. WCF meal to-go only December 31.

Prayer Walk Sunday - November 2: Meet us in the sanctuary for worship at 10am only , then we will head out in groups for walks through our community and college campuses. Each group will have prayer leaders to guide us through specific prayer prompts as we walk. Route lengths vary between 1 mile to 1.5 miles. Some routes will require a short drive to a nearby location. You may choose your route on that morning. A 1-mile Kid Loop and playground time is available for families with young kids. We will also have guided prayer time at Grace for people who would like to remain at Grace to pray.

A hot dog lunch will be provided on the front lawn after the walk. Please bring a bag lunch if you need other accommodations.

Please bring lawn chairs or blankets to the front lawn for lunch.

Remember to wear comfortable shoes!

Marriage Team Sliders and S'mores - November 7: Sliders and S’mores on a cool November night - what could be better!? Bring your significant other for fun games with other married and engaged couples. Enjoy yummy sliders, hot beverages, and fire pit fun. Please bring your lawn chairs for this fun event. 7-9pm

Gifts of Grace Collection - November 9 - 23: Gifts of Grace is a way of blessing our Wednesday Community Fellowship guests each Christmas season. Socks and underwear are one of the biggest needs for people experiencing homelessness and people who are under-resourced. Grace will supply socks and some fun gifts for each guests…we need you to supply the underwear! Please check out our Amazon wish list and send packs of new underwear to Grace. If you choose to purchase from somewhere else, please purchase multi-packs that include about 5 boxers or panties. Collection bins will be in the Eagle’s Nest in November. Men's Firepit Hang Out - November 15: Men, Come hang out by the fire and get to know other guys from the church. We'll have some snacks, you bring a chair. We will hang out on the back lawn and just enjoy the onset of Fall and hanging out as men from the church. Bring a friend! 7-9pm

Youth Turkey Bowl - November 16: The Turkey Bowl is a fun event consisting of lots of turkey related games, contest and prizes. This is a great event to invite a friend to. 4-5:30

Grief Care during the Holidays - November 23: While grief can and does hit at any time, it can be even more prevalent during the holiday season, when everything in our culture says, "Be happy" and we feel the absence of loved ones most acutely. We are welcoming a grief counselor to give us guidance in how to navigate these difficult times. Join us on November 23 at 6:30pm in the Eagle's Nest. No registration required.

Youth Envelope Fundraiser - October 5 - 23: Help us defray the cost of the Youth Mission Trip 2026. There will be a banner on the Eagle’s Nest Patio with 144 numbered envelopes to make a donation. Place filled envelopes in the offering basket. We would like all the envelopes to be returned by Sunday, November 2. You can also give online using this link .

WCF Casserole Dinner - October 22: Let’s make some yummy Baked Spaghetti Casseroles for our Wednesday night guests. These casseroles can be made 3 days ahead of time and placed in the glass refrigerator in Room 105 on the preceding Sunday morning on your way to service! You may also bring them Monday or Tuesday during office hours...or Wednesday, October 22 at 5:00pm thoroughly cooked and hot. Please follow this recipe . We need 12 large casseroles in all. Aluminum pans and printed recipes are available in Room 105. Please sign-up HERE . We can also use 2-liter drinks every Wednesday. Please drop them off in room 105 by the clothing donations. All-in Weekend - October 24-26: All-In-Weekend is Grace Youth's annual fall retreat at Camp Weaver for students 6-12 grades. It will be an amazing weekend as we spend time in nature hearing from God and having fun. The weekend will include lots of games and fun activities, meals and snacks, Bible teaching and small group time. Sign-up HERE. Be sure to fill out a current medical release form Youth Ministry .

Guest Speaker - David Liauw -October 26: We are excited to host David Liauw from King's Park International Church in Durham, NC. David grew up in four countries as a missionary kid in the Every Nation family of churches and ministries. He encountered the Gospel early on, and his faith was deeply shaped by the courageous believers he met in persecuted nations.
He completed his undergraduate studies from UNC Chapel Hill and a masters from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. David serves as the director over Every Nation Campus ministries at UNC, Duke and North Carolina Central and also serves on the teaching team at King’s Park International Church. David is married to Betsabé, and they are proud parents of their one and an half year old son, Nathan.

Multiethnic Conversations - October 26-Nov 23: We believe that God has called us to embrace diversity in a genuine way, based on the teachings of the Gospel. To achieve this, we are offering a series of 5 weekly sessions based on the book Multiethnic Conversations by Mark DeYmaz and Oneya Fennell Okuwobi. This workbook serves as a practical guide to help us grow as a more diverse church. The group will meet at Grace on Sunday mornings at 11:30 in Room 201. We have limited spots available for 12 participants.

New Life Class - October 26 - Nov 16: Class to help kids grow in their understanding of a life with God. The class covers Grace's Gospel framework and utilizes several fun experiences to help kids develop a better grasp on God and His movement toward them. The class can be taken once kids hit 2nd grade through 5th grade. Older siblings can join in and kids need a mentor to take the class. It is a requirement for any child under 5th grade who wants to be baptized. Register HERE .

A hot dog lunch will be provided on the front lawn after the walk. Please bring a bag lunch if you need other accommodations.

Please bring lawn chairs or blankets to the front lawn for lunch.

Grounded: Finding Peace in an Anxious World - September 7 - October 19: Our first annual Churchwide Campaign begins September 7. we will host a 41-day push to focus our people on being “grounded” in chaotic times. We will look at six areas of everyday life and consider how being grounded in God would lead to the experience of peace. The areas include our thought life, relationships, work, money, the divisive culture, and the future. The campaign will culminate in a celebration with baptisms on October 19 .

We want to see everyone at Grace in a FAMILY group! When you join a group, you will have access to “Grounded” t-shirts, printed devotionals and scripture cards. There will be college groups, men-only, women-only and coed groups as well. Youth and kids will also participate with their own contextualized “Grounded” study. Join a group at Groups (College & Adult) .

GraceKids Promotion Sunday - September 7 : Children from 3ys old through 5th grade will transition to their new age-appropriate classrooms. This annual event marks the next step in their learning and growth within our church community. Children will be welcomed into their new classes by their teachers and leaders. We encourage families to attend this Sunday and check your child's name tag and signs in the hall to find their new rooms. We look forward to seeing you there.

Pigskin Preview - September 7: Men of Grace, come have some DELICIOUS barbecue, meet other guys from the church, and hear about our CAMPAIGN to get everyone at Grace into a group for our Fall Series about finding peace in an anxious world. You can sign up for a group right at the lunch, and also sign up for our Men's Weekend in October. Just come to the Eagle's Nest after 2nd service at 11:30. RSVP HERE to help us plan for food!

Grace Youth Water Waters/Fall Kickoff - September 7: Grace Youth will kick off the school year with a fun afternoon of water games on the back lawn of the church. All students in grades 6-12 are invited to participate. There will be lots of fun, friends, games, prizes and snacks. This would be a great event to invite a friend to who has never been to Grace Youth.

Women's Fall Fellowship - September 14: Ladies!! Seen some new faces but haven't had time to connect? Here's your chance! Run to the Eagle's Nest immediately after 2nd service. We will chat over lunch and share about women's FAMILY groups and upcoming events.

WCF Casserole Dinner - September 24: Let’s make some yummy Baked Spaghetti Casseroles for our Wednesday night guests. These casseroles can be made 3 days ahead of time and placed in the glass refrigerator in Room 105 on the preceding Sunday morning on your way to service! You may also bring them Monday or Tuesday during office hours...or Wednesday, September 24 at 5:00pm thoroughly cooked and hot. Please follow this recipe . We need 12 large casseroles in all. Aluminum pans and printed recipes are available in Room 105. Please sign-up HERE . We can also use 2-liter drinks every Wednesday. Please drop them off in room 105 by the clothing donations. Covenant Class - September 28: Want to know more about what it means to be FAMILY at Grace? Come to our Covenantor Class for people who want to consider joining our church. You will hear from the staff, learn about the ministries and vision of the church, and look more deeply at our beliefs and theology. We will meet after 2nd service and there will be pizza and childcare provided. Please register HERE . Childcare is available upon registration.

Men's Weekend - October 3-4: Men of Grace, join us for our annual Men’s Weekend. This year we will be learning about what it means to be a disciple of Jesus who also helps others grow in being disciples of Jesus. We have an AMAZING speaker for you this year, our good friend Pearce Landry, who has been intentionally making disciples in his life and workplace for many years. Pearce has also served for years here in Greensboro with SEARCH ministries. He will have a lot of practical wisdom to share.

In order to keep costs down and to see if more guys can come for a shorter weekend, this year we are staying in town and meeting at Grace. We will still have great food, excellent worship, small groups where you can connect with other men on the retreat, and we will have a LOT of fun growing together. The cost is $50 per person, and if you need help covering that, please let Marshall know. REGISTER HERE .

Child Dedication - October 12: Bi-annual event allowing parents to dedicate their kids. Parents must be covenantors to participate. The event includes a class for parents that is mandatory. This class is scheduled 2-3 weeks before the event. It also includes a dinner the Friday or Saturday night before for the parents to meet with staff and elders and pray together for the child(ren) getting dedicated. The class will be October 5. One Service, One Family - July 6 - August 31 : Grace family and friends! This summer we will come together as family each Sunday! We will worship together at 10:00am and then head to the Eagle's Nest and back lawn for fellowship and special treats!

Baptism - August 24: Baptisms will take place on the front lawn immediately after 9am service. Baptism is an important step in our faith journey. Why do we practice Baptism here at Grace? Here is what our constitution says concerning Baptism: We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ instituted two ordinances to be observed by all believers until His return, baptism and the Lord’s Supper (Communion). Their observance by all believers is urged. (Mat. 28:19; 1 Cor. 11:23-26) If you would like to take this step in your walk with Jesus, please register HERE .

Note: Children in 2nd - 5th grades will need to have taken the New Life Class prior to being baptized.

Baptism on the Lawn & Potluck Lunch - August 24: We are excited to gather together to celebrate baptisms, share a potluck lunch and play field day games! Whoop, whoop! We’ll first meet in the Sanctuary for worship (kids too!) at 9am . Please bring your lawn chairs for baptism on the front lawn. If you have a canopy, please bring it to help with shade.

Please let us know how many will be coming with you and also what dish you’ll be bringing for the potluck - entrée, side dish or dessert. Register HERE .

Note: There will be no childcare or GraceKids classes.

Men's Dinner - July 12 5-7pm : Men, come join us for one of the best family style meals you will ever have. It’s our annual trip to Hillbilly Hideaway in Walnut Cove. If you want to meet up at Grace at 4:00, you can carpool with others, which is a great way to get to know guys from the church. Dinner will cost you $25.75 (plus tax and tip), and it is ALL YOU CAN EAT. You will not leave hungry! Please register so we know who is wanting to carpool. Register HERE .

Covenant Class - July 19, 9am : Interested in becoming a Covenantor (member) at Grace? Join us for Covenant Class on Saturday, July 19th in the Eagle’s Nest. This class will introduce you to Grace’s constitution and theological position papers as well as dig a little more deeply into what makes Grace unique. New Life Class - July 26-27 : New Life Class is offered to 2nd-5th graders to learn more about The Best Life - A Life With God. This class is designed for kids to sign up with an adult mentor and is for any child who would like to know more about God. The class is a requirement for kids interested in Baptism. Register HERE .

Note: Children in 2nd - 5th grades will need to have taken the New Life Class prior to being baptized. The next New Life Class series will be Saturday, July 26 and Sunday, July 27. You can find out more information about New Life Class and sign up for it on Realm or the website.

GraceKids Buddies : Some amazing kiddos in our Sunday school classes could use a one-on-one buddy - someone to cheer them on, guide them, and make sure they have the best experience possible. No special training required - just a big heart, a joyful spirit and a willingness to help! We need 3 people who can serve 2 times a month during one service to cover our need. VBS 2025 - June 22-26: You’re invited to participate in True North - Trusting Jesus in a Wild World at Grace Community Church. Each night, kids will worship, learn, laugh, run, play, discover, and enjoy each other and grown-ups who love Jesus and want to spend time with them. Marriage Couples Night - May 30 : Are you married, engaged, or seriously dating? Come out for a fun time of games on the lawn with other couples! This will be a fun time to meet the Marriage Enrichment Team, other couples at Grace and to enjoy some yummy dessert!

Childcare registration is now closed but couples can still attend!! Bring lawn chairs or blankets. If it rains we will be in the Eagle's Nest.

FAMILY Conversation - June 1, 11:30am: Grace FAMILY, please register for our FAMILY Conversation on June 1st after 2nd service. We need to update you on staffing changes, where we stand with regard to church finances, budget and the deficit, and our plans moving forward. If you consider Grace Community Church your church home, you are welcome to attend. We will provide pizza and water for lunch, as well as childcare for walkers through 5th grade.

Multiethnic Conversations - June 1 - June 29: We believe that God has called us to move strongly towards our value of authentic diversity, undergirded by the foundation of the gospel. We are offering a condensed 5-week session through the book Multiethnic Conversations by Mark DeYmaz and Oneya Fennell Okuwobi. Our Summer session will be Sundays June 1 – 29 at 11:30am (after 10:00 worship). We will not have childcare for this class. Class size is limited to 12 adults. Discovery Bible Study - April 22 : TONIGHT! Curious about Jesus? Or maybe you do not have a vibrant relationship with Him or a regular habit of coming to church. We’re here to help! This 6-week study on the life of Jesus will use the discover Bible study method to help you gain a better understanding of who Jesus is. We will meet Tuesday evenings beginning April 22. If you have a friend who could benefit from this study, feel free to sign up together! We will gather in an informal place (coffee shop, brewery etc.) to be determined soon. Register today ! We look forward to studying with you!

Serve Sunday - April 27 : April 27th is our annual SERVE Sunday! We will meet together for worship at 9 am then head out into the community to serve! Work sites are open from 10am to noon. WE NEED YOU! Consider encouraging your discipleship community or your group of friends to sign up together. Be sure to bring work gloves and if you have appropriate tools (gardening tools, trash pickers) please bring them as well. Register HERE .

Multiethnic Conversations - June 1 - June 29 : We believe that God has called us to move strongly towards our value of authentic diversity, undergirded by the foundation of the gospel. We are offering a condensed 5-week session through the book Multiethnic Conversations by Mark DeYmaz and Oneya Fennell Okuwobi. WCF Casserole Dinner – April 23: Grace Family! Let’s make some yummy Chicken Divan Casseroles for our Wednesday night guests. These casseroles can be made up to 3 days ahead of time and placed in the refrigerator in room 105 on the preceding Sunday morning on your way to service. You may also bring them Monday or Tuesday during office hours…or Wednesday at 5:00pm thoroughly cooked and hot. Click HERE for the recipe. We need 12 large casseroles. Steamer size aluminum pans (20 x 13inches) and printed recipes are available in room 105. We will need 12 casseroles every 4th Wednesday of the month and12 2-liter drinks! Please register HERE to sign up to bring a casserole or drinks for April 23. Thank you for feeding our community!

4 more WCF CASSEROLES NEEDED!! - February 26. Click HERE for more information and to sign up.

Marriage Focused FAMILY group February 23 - March 23 : This will be a group for couples who want to go deeper with some of the topics covered at the marriage conference. This group will meet Sundays in the sanctuary (to watch the accompanying video) and then break into smaller groups. You did not have to attend the conference to participate in these groups. Sundays 4-5:30pm. Be sure to register HERE .

Churchwide Fast - February 23 - 28 : Grace FAMILY, in conjunction with the Gather 25 Prayer Movement happening on February 28 – March 1, we are asking our church to participate in a fast from Sunday evening, February 23 until Friday evening, February 28, after the Gather25 Worship event at Grace. During this Fasting Week, we ask all of us to be intentionally praying:

For God to DEEPEN our love for Him
For global AWAKENING and revival
For our church to experience an OUTPOURING of God’s Presence and leadership, that we might become the church He is creating us to be.

Gather25 Global Gathering - Feb 28 : On February 28, we will join with churches around the world in a 25-hour movement of prayer and worship. We will gather at Grace in the sanctuary for worship at 7pm and then join in with other churches for a livestream, where we will praise God with others from around the world. Together we will pray for the Kingdom to come on Earth as it is in heaven!

Women's Day of Service - March 8 : Join us for Grace Women’s Day of Service on March 8th as we come together to serve our community with love and purpose! We’ll be serving at Glenwood Together, the Glenwood Urban Farm, Hope Academy, and the Pregnancy Care Network using our gifts to make a meaningful impact. Choose a slot from 9 AM–12 PM or 1 PM–3 PM , and let’s serve in our footprint to benefit the Glenwood community and bring glory to God. Bring a friend and sign up to be part of this incredible day of giving! Register now!

Men's ACC Tourney Watch Party - March 14 : Men! We invite you to join us for the annual March Madness event on Friday, March 14 at 7pm. Each year, March Madness is a great time to meet men at Grace, get connected, and cheer on your favorite team. So please invite your friends and bring your sons too! Please register so that we know how much food to buy!

CommUnity Kids Choir : CommUNITY Kids Choir is for any children between the ages of 4-12 in our church or community who want to sing with other children! The goal is to create a space for them to minister in worship as well as lead others by singing on stage. We will have 5 practices in Room 203 leading up to Easter! The first practice is March 16 at 11:30. The more your child practices the more confident he or she will become! Please be sure to register.

Covenant Class - March 22 : If you are looking to become a member (covenantor) here at Grace…this is the class for you! Join us to learn more about who we are as a church & the process to becoming a covenantor with the Grace family. Be sure to register !

Women's Retreat - April 5 & 6 : Ladies! Join us for our annual 2025 Women’s Retreat at the conveniently located Caraway Conference Center on April 5th and 6th. Our own Jo Heather Dodson will lead us through our time in the Word on our theme of “Serve One Another.” The Saturday only option is still available - Registration closes on March 14th - Click HERE for more information and to register.
