Looking Back


Audio

Then

  • Old Midas console with failing motors.
  • Blown left and center speakers.
  • Faulty speaker relay.

Now

  • New Behringer WING console.
  • Speakers and relay repaired.
  • Stable, dependable audio system.

  • Inconsistent streaming.
  • Unreliable stream audio.

  • Eliminated Resi (saving $1,856).
  • Record and upload services.

Moving Forward

Audio

  • Improve week-to-week mix consistency.
  • Better replicate praise team and choir mixes in the house.
  • Standardize operator techniques for all services.
  • Continue refining the stream mix (pastor, stage, and congregation). NOTE: stream is not the priority the 8:30am and 10am service is the priority.
  • Less headphone mixing in main services - be more present


Video

  • Add a stationary camera.
  • Talked through use of NDI cameras
  • Improve camera placement.
  • Improve stage backlighting.
  • Talked through possibly darking the stage floor with would hide cables as well as making a hiding ramp in the back of the stage
  • Install Jake's 80" rear display.
  • Jake got a donated 80inch TV that we will have mounted to replace the back wall projector.


Slides

  • Streamline childcare announcement.
  • walked through procedure
  • Reveal song titles earlier.
  • Talked about importance of presentation lingering with scripture
  • Leave Scripture and presentation slides up longer during teaching.

Scheduling


  • Thank you for your excellent teamwork and Sunday coverage.
  • Audio and Video must communicate time off with worship pastor
  • Slide Techs thanks for managing schedule changes by texting one another and keeping everyone informed.


Additional Notes:


WE will set up Slide, Audio and Video training. Techs expressed a desire to learn all positions, Especially Ricky! - I will follow up individually with each tech and make schedules available.
