September - October 2026

Upcoming events this fall!
Two Sunday worship services resumes September 13: 8:30am & 10am
Better Stories Message Series and Campaign Groups starting September 13: We are all searching for a better story—one that truly satisfies and quenches the deep thirst within us. Yet the stories surrounding us—on social media, on television, in movie theaters, and even closer to home in our neighborhoods and families—rarely fill us in the way we hope they will.
Jesus told powerful stories—stories of treasure, harvest, kings and kingdoms.
This fall, we’re stepping into a 41-day journey to discover how Jesus gives us better stories to build our lives on. Stories that don’t leave us empty, but truly fill us. Stories that bring lasting satisfaction. Join us for our fall campaign: Better Stories- Moving from Unfulfilled to Filled Full! If you are not currently in a group, join a campaign group for this series. You will receive a 41-day devotion, a water bottle, memorization card and access to a weekly video in small group.
GraceKids Promotion Sunday - September 13: It’s time for kids to move up in GraceKids!
While not every child will be in a new class, everyone will enjoy new volunteer teams and some new friends along the way. Be sure to check your child’s name tag for their class assignment for the fall, and help them find their room if it’s new to them. GraceKids volunteers will be in the hallways and ready to help!
Grace Youth Water Wars - September 13: Grace Youth will kick-off the school year with fun water games on the back lawn.
WCF Casserole Night - September 23: Let’s make some yummy Chicken Divan for our Wednesday night guests. These casseroles can be made 3 days ahead of time and placed in the glass refrigerator in Room 105 on the preceding Sunday morning on your way to service! You may also bring them Monday or Tuesday during office hours...or Wednesday, September 23 before 5:00pm thoroughly cooked and hot. Please follow this recipe. We need 12 large casseroles in all. Aluminum pans and printed recipes are available in Room 105. Sign-up here.
Covenantor Class - September 27: Want to know more about what it means to be FAMILY at Grace? Come to our Covenantor Class,
Sunday, September 27, 11:30am, for people who want to consider joining our church. You will hear from the staff, learn about the ministries and vision of the church, and look more deeply at our beliefs and theology. Light breakfast is provided. Childcare is available with registration.
Register here.
Grace Youth Missions Envelope Fundraiser - October 4 -18: Grace Youth will raise money for their 2027 mission trio distributing envelopes with different amounts on them and QR codes outside of the Eagle's Nest the first 3 weeks of October. You may also give online with this link. We would like all of the envelopes to be returned by November 1.
Child Dedication - October 11: This is a meaningful opportunity to reflect on what it means to be a parent in light of the gospel and to commit to raising your child within this faith community. It’s a chance to commit your parenting to Jesus with your Grace family as a witness. It also invites your church family to come alongside you—to cheer you on, support you, and help you point your child toward Jesus every step of the way. To participate, at least one parent must be a covenant member. Parents are also required to attend a preparation class and you’ll be invited to a special dinner hosted by our pastors and elders, where we will pray for you and your child(ren). Register here.
Baptism and Affirmation of Faith - October 25: Are you new to faith or getting serious about your faith? Do you feel the Spirit inviting you to take the next steps of discipleship? You should consider getting baptized or participating in our affirmation of faith.
Baptism is an important step in our faith journey. Why do we practice Baptism here at Grace? Here is what our constitution says concerning Baptism: We believe the Lord Jesus Christ instituted two ordinances to be observed by all believers until His return, Baptism and The Lord’s Supper (Communion). Their observance by all believers is urged (Matt 28:19; 1 Cor 11:23-26). Kids 2nd -5th grade need to have completed New Life class to be baptized.
Affirmation of faith is for men and women who have been baptized previously but are in a season where their faith life is being renewed or coming alive in a new way and they want to mark that reality with their faith community. They will write their story and have it read in the service just like the folks getting baptized but instead of getting in the water, they will be anointed with oil and prayed over by the elders.
If you would like to be baptized or participate in affirmation of faith, please register HERE by October 12.
