Baptism on the Lawn and Affirmation of Faith - August 30, 9am: Are you new to faith or getting serious about your faith? Do you feel the Spirit inviting you to take the next steps of discipleship? You should consider getting baptized or participating in our affirmation of faith.

Baptism is an important step in our faith journey. Why do we practice Baptism here at Grace? Here is what our constitution says concerning Baptism: We believe the Lord Jesus Christ instituted two ordinances to be observed by all believers until His return, Baptism and The Lord’s Supper (Communion). Their observance by all believers is urged (Matt 28:19; 1 Cor 11:23-26). Kids 2nd -5th grade need to have completed New Life class to be baptized.

Affirmation of faith is for men and women who have been baptized previously but are in a season where their faith life is being renewed or coming alive in a new way and they want to mark that reality with their faith community. They will write their story and have it read in the service just like the folks getting baptized but instead of getting in the water, they will be anointed with oil and prayed over by the elders.

If you would like to be baptized or participate in affirmation of faith, please register HERE by August 13.

Baptism on the Lawn Potluck Lunch - August 30: It’s time for Baptism on the Lawn! We are excited to gather together to celebrate baptisms, share a potluck lunch and play field day games! Whoop, whoop! We’ll first meet in the Sanctuary for worship at 9am (kids too!). Please bring your lawn chairs for baptism on the front lawn. Please let us know how many will be coming with you and also what dish you’ll be bringing for the potluck - entrée, side dish or dessert. Sign-up here.

GraceKids classes closed August 30 & September 6. Promotion Sunday will be September 13.
